Wanya Morris arrested Thursday

Fantasy Impact: Jason Godrick was also arrested alonside Morris. It had been reported that Morris was expected to compete with Kingsley Suamataia for the starting left tackle job in camp. This will remain a situation to monitor.

Fantasy Impact: It was reported that Suamataia was expected to compete with Wanya Morris for the starting spot, but it was reported later in the day on Friday that Morris was arrested and charged with misdemeanor marijuana possession on Thursday. This figures to give an edge to Suamataia in camp for the starting spot.

Fantasy Impact: Christiansen was re-signed after Kansas City released DT Matt Dickerson. The Chiefs withdrew his tender offer to make room for the UDFA class but optioned to bring him back.

Fantasy Impact: CEH will return to the team that drafted him and is expected to back up Isiah Pacheco. The former first-round pick tallied 223 rushing yards and one touchdown on 70 carries last season. Barring an injury to Pacheco, fantasy managers should consider CEH a handcuff in 2024.

After scoring 190 points in 69 appearances between 2018 and 2024, Rees-Zammit opted to join the NFL International Player Pathway in Jan. 2024. He will get his first chance at the NFL with K.C.

Fantasy Impact: Sneed has emerged as one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL in recent years, helping lead the Chiefs' secondary to consecutive Super Bowl victories. Kansas City has to be selective about where it spends its money and opted for a tag-and-trade with Sneed, though the compensation is likely not what K.C. initially hoped for. Sneed, a former fourth-rounder, has 10 interceptions and 40 passes defended in four seasons along with 303 tackles and 6.5 sacks. He's expected to sign a deal with Tennessee in the four-year, $76 million range.

Fantasy Impact: Toney’s season has been characterized by mental mistakes that have ultimately cost the Chiefs points. Since Week 15, when he had his second tip-drill-interception-inducing drop of the year, Toney has not played, whether it was injury-related, personal, or coach’s decision. Toney caught a TD pass in last year’s Super Bowl victory and had 27 catches for 169 yards and one score this season in 13 games. The Chiefs will rely on Rashee Rice, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Justin Watson, and Skyy Moore.
