Zay Jones has come to an agreement on a one-year contract with the Cardinals. (Source: Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Jones was released late last month after spending the last couple of seasons with the Jaguars. The 29-year-old wide receiver will bring seven seasons of NFL experience to the Arizona receiver room. Jones had his best campaign as a pro in 2022, hauling in 82 passes for 823 yards and five scores. He was limited to nine games last season due to multiple nagging injuries and finished the season with 34 grabs for 321 yards.

Tarik Cohen released by Panthers

By Nate Miller

Tarik Cohen has been released by the Panthers after signing a new contract with the team back in January. (Source: Adam Schefter on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: In an attempt to put multiple injuries behind him and make a return to an NFL field, Cohen spent all of the last season with Carolina's scout team. He was inked to a new contract this past January with hopes of competing for a spot on the 2024 roster. Cohen was once a Pro-Bowl caliber return man and pass-catching specialist out of the backfield, but he has not played in an NFL game since 2020.

Ben Skowronek has been traded to the Houston Texans. Skowronek was originally expected to be released, but instead, the Rams will receive compensation for him, which involves a 6th and 7th-round pick swap between the Rams and the Texans in 2026. (Source: Tom Pelissero on X)

Fantasy Impact: Skowronek joins a stacked wide receiver room in Houston, which includes Tank Dell, Nico Collins, and the newly acquired Stefon Diggs. Skowronek will likely be a depth piece in the Texans' wide receiver room, and won't be fantasy relevant in standard 12 team leagues.

The Giants claimed QB Nathan Rourke off waivers from the Patriots. (Source: Tom Pelissero on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Rourke spent time with both the Jaguars and Patriots after playing in the CFL. He figures to add some depth to the quarterback room in New York with the Giants.

The Giants have signed free agent WR Allen Robinson II. (Source: Art Stapleton on Twitter )

Fantasy Impact: Robinson is coming off a disappointing 2023 season in which he recorded 280 receiving yards on 34 receptions in 17 games. Fantasy managers should expect the 30-year-old to operate as a depth receiver for the Giants.

The New Orleans Saints are waiving backup QB Kellen Mond. (Source: Field Yates on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Mond signed with the Saints in April, but they ended up drafting QB Spencer Rattler in the fifth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, likely leading to the former Texas A&M Aggie being waived. Though he is still only 24, the former third-round pick has not yet started a game and has only had one pro appearance while playing for four teams in four seasons. Mond will likely land on another team's practice squad somewhere, but his young stint in the league has quickly approached journeyman status.

Martavis Bryant has been released by the Cowboys after spending most of last season on the practice squad. The Cowboys are the first NFL team Bryant has been apart of since his suspension in 2018. (Source: Tom Pelissero)

Fantasy Impact: Bryant has not seen any playing action since 2018, as he was suspended from 2018-2023. The 32-year-old previously played for the Steelers and Raiders prior to his extended suspension. Bryant will likely look to join another squad, but even if he does, he won't have much viability as a fantasy player.

Scotty Miller has signed a one-year deal with the Steelers after spending last season with the Falcons. (Source: Adam Schefter on X)

Fantasy Impact: Miller's signing reunites him with Arthur Smith, former Falcons head coach and current offensive coordinator for the Steelers. Miller will look to compete for a roster spot as the summer progresses. Still, the Steelers will likely seek out a bigger name to help stabilize the wide receiver position after trading away Diontae Johnson.

Ben DiNucci has been released by the Broncos after spending the past year on the practice squad. (Source: Ari Meirov on X)

Fantasy Impact: DiNucci's release leaves the Broncos with three quarterbacks under contract: Jarrett Stidham, Zach Wilson, and Bo Nix. As OTAs continue throughout the summer, more information will come out regarding the pecking order of the Broncos' quarterback room.

By Emily Maingi

Tyler Boyd has signed with the Titans on a one-year deal worth up to $4.5 million. (Source: Jeremy Fowler on X)

Fantasy Impact: After playing for the Bengals his entire career, the 29-year-old wide receiver is moving on. He joins the Titans wide receiver room which consists of Calvin Ridley, DeAndre Hopkins, and Treylon Burks. In most leagues, Boyd likely won't be draftable, but could be a good fill-in waiver wire option for bye weeks and injuries.

Andrus Peat signs with Raiders

By Ari Koslow

The Las Vegas Raiders signed Andrus Peat. (Source: Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Peat spent his entire career with the Saints, and now heads to the Raiders. He figures to add depth to the offensive line for Las Vegas.

The Tennessee Titans signed Marlon Davidson. (Source: Tennessee Titans on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Davidson signed with the Titans in the middle of last season. He'll likely compete for a starting spot in camp.

Dawuane Smoot signs with Bills

Tue, May 7th 12:24pm EDT
By Ari Koslow

The Buffalo Bills signed Dawuane Smoot. (Source: NFL.com)

Fantasy Impact: Smoot last played with the Jaguars before his contract ended last season. He was coming off an injury last year which limited him to 12 games. He'll look to get back to full health with Buffalo this season.

The Las Vegas Raiders have signed WR Jalen Guyton. (Source: Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Guyton only suited up in eight games last season, registering 89 receiving yards and one touchdown on 10 receptions. He will likely compete for a depth role behind three strong veteran wide receiver options in the Raiders’ offense.

Rashaad Penny is reportedly planning to sign with the Carolina Panthers. (Source: Jeremy Fowler on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Penny will reunite with head coach Dave Canales from their days with the Seahawks. The deal is expected to become official after rookie minicamp. Penny played in just three games in his one season with the Eagles. He'll look to earn a role in the Panthers backfield alongside Chuba Hubbard, Miles Sanders and rookie Jonathan Brooks.

Veteran RB Duke Johnson Jr. has announced his retirement from the NFL after playing eight seasons for four teams. (Source: Duke Johnson on Instagram)

Fantasy Impact: Johnson was a third-round pick by the Cleveland Browns in the 2015 NFL Draft out of the University of Miami (FL). Serving as a dual threat in both the passing game and receiving game, Johnson averaged 516 receiving yards and 855 scrimmage yards over his first five seasons. He will end his career with 5,135 scrimmage yards and 23 total TDs between the Browns, Houston Texans, Miami Dolphins, and Buffalo Bills.

Chase Claypool signing with Bills

Fri, May 3rd 11:39am EDT
By Leo Sells

Chase Claypool is signing a one-year deal with the Buffalo Bills. (Source: Adam Schefter on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Claypool has been on three different teams over the past two seasons, and now he's signing a one-year deal to join the Bills. He has totaled just 528 yards and two touchdowns over the past couple of seasons, but with Buffalo being thin at the wide receiver position, he may have a chance to make an impact. The added depth is good for QB Josh Allen, who will be without both Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis for the first time in several years.

Odell Beckham Jr. is signing a one-year deal with the Miami Dolphins. (Source: Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Beckham has been weighing his options for a while now, but he has finally come to the decision to sign with the Miami Dolphins. He was reportedly offered more money to sign elsewhere, but he declined it because he likes how he fits with Miami. He will be behind Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle on the depth chart, but he will likely be the WR3 for the team with a reasonable chance to be fantasy relevant in the case of an injury. His presence will also snuff out any hope for a rookie year breakout from Malik Washington or Tahj Washington, both of whom Miami got in the NFL Draft.

DJ Chark has signed a one-year deal with the Chargers worth up to $5 million after spending last year with the Panthers and the year prior with the Lions. (Source: Ian Rapoport on X)

Fantasy Impact: Chark joins a Chargers wide receiver room that is in need of an upgrade from last year, especially with the departure of Keenan Allen. Chark will look to supply a veteran presence and a deep ball threat to a young Chargers wide receiver room that mostly consists of inexperienced pass catchers.

Nate Wiggins signed his rookie contract with the Ravens. The first-round cornerback signed a fully guaranteed four-year deal worth $12.8 million and received a $6.1 million signing bonus. (Source: Ari Meirov on X)

Fantasy Impact: Wiggins is the first Round 1 player to sign his rookie deal. His first-round draft capital indicates he will be an integral part of the Ravens defense, which finished DST 2 in the 2023 season.
