Eric Gray reportedly got "a lot of run" with the first-team offense at practice on Thursday. (Source: Pat Leonard on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: The Giants signed Devin Singletary to seemingly be the starter this season, but it is no guarantee that he'll be the workhorse. Gray did not play much as a rookie, but he'll have the chance to play a bigger role this season in a wide open Giants backfield with the departure of Saquon Barkley.

Drew Lock emphasized to reporters his job is to help Daniel Jones as the backup. (Source: Connor Hughes on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: There had been some speculation when the Giants signed him that Lock could have an outside chance to compete for the starting job, but Jones appears to have that locked up as many would expect. Lock did step into the starting role when Geno Smith missed some time for the Seahawks last season, so Lock should be ready if needed.

Fantasy Impact: Stapleton added that it is still very early, but it is at least noteworthy. The Giants brought in Drew Lock this offseason who was likely considered to be the clear favorite to backup Daniel Jones, but it appears it could be some sort of competition between Lock and DeVito as the offseason progresses.

Fantasy Impact: Playing in just his second game of the season, Crosby did put seven points up on the board for the Giants. However, he also missed two kicks - one FG, one PAT - in the second half. Wan'Dale Robinson caught 6 of 9 targets for 55 yards and added a 24-yard touchdown run in Sunday's 26-25 loss to the Rams.

Fantasy Impact: Robinson led the Giants in receptions and targets Sunday afternoon. The second-year receiver has now caught at least three passes in six consecutive games, averaging 4.3 grabs per week in that span. His 24-yard run in the second quarter was the top highlight of his performance Sunday and resulted in his second touchdown of the season. Robinson is obviously a fixture in the Giants' offense.

Jalin Hyatt caught 3 of 4 targets for 25 yards in Sunday's 26-25 loss to the Rams.

Fantasy Impact: Hyatt had not recorded a reception in either of the last two games, so this was a bit of a rebound for him. Still, there was not much to see in this middling performance, particularly on a day in which Tyrod Taylor threw for more than 300 yards. Hyatt has shown big-play ability at times this season, but he's been wildly inconsistent during his rookie campaign.
