Fantasy Impact: Godwin added that playing on the inside lets him be more creative and to be more involved in the run game without it being so obvious. He has recorded over 1,000 yards receiving each of the past three seasons, though he could have a season closer to his breakout 2019 season when he hauled in over 1,300 yards and nine touchdowns if he plays primarily in the slot all year.


Dee Delaney signs with Bills

Fantasy Impact: Delaney spent the past three seasons with the Buccaneers. He appeared in 17 games last year, starting two games with two interceptions, five passes defensed, 25 total tackles and one tackle for loss.

Fantasy Impact: The new deal makes him the highest paid defensive back in NFL history. The 25-year-old tallied six forced fumbles, three interceptions, and 12 passes defensed last season and will remain a key component of the Bucs’ defense.

Fantasy Impact: White joins the Eagles after playing with the Buccaneers throughout his rookie deal. He showed flashes throughout his tenure in Tampa Bay, and will look to put it all together with the Eagles.

Fantasy Impact: The base value is around $9 million for David. He recorded 4.5 sacks and 134 tackles last season with Tampa Bay. He'll play his 13th season with the Bucs.

Fantasy Impact: Mayfield is set to receive $50M guaranteed. Mayfield led the Buccaneers to a 9-8 record in his first season with the team while completing 64.3% of his passes, with 28 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions. His return should bring continuity to the offense that also retained Mike Evans.

Fantasy Impact: Evans has spent his entire career with Tampa, and it looks more and more likely he will finish it there. The speculation was he would enter free agency and test the market, but he is staying put with the team that drafted him. He’ll be the unquestioned top wide receiver for next season for whomever the Bucs bring in at QB, whether Baker Mayfield or a new face in 2024.

Fantasy Impact: Jensen, 32, played eight seasons in the NFL with the Baltimore Ravens (four) and Buccaneers (five). He missed the entire 2022 and 2023 regular seasons as he battled a knee injury right after hitting his prime moments as a pro -- including a Super Bowl win and his first Pro Bowl nod. Jensen started 90 career games, playing in 100, and appeared in his last game in the 2022 postseason game against the Dallas Cowboys, Tom Brady's last NFL game.

Fantasy Impact: The Tampa Bay defense allowed 94 passing yards and 131 rushing yards in the win over the Panthers. The defense made up for a struggling Buccaneers’ offense and kept the Panthers’ offense guessing all afternoon.

Cade Otton caught 2-of-3 targets for 30 yards in Tampa Bay’s 9-0 win over Carolina.

Fantasy Impact: Otton had a quiet day as the Tampa Bay passing attack struggled to get anything consistent going. The 24-year-old tight end will finish the season with 455 receiving yards and four touchdowns on 47 receptions. Otton is likely the favorite to open the 2024 season as the starting TE for Tampa Bay.

Trey Palmer caught 2-of-6 targets for 10 yards in Tampa Bay’s 9-0 win over Carolina.

Fantasy Impact: Palmer had a quiet end to his 2023 season. The 22-year-old will finish the year with 385 yards and two touchdowns on 39 receptions. Palmer will likely have a chance to carve out a larger role in the Buccaneers’ offense in 2024.

Fantasy Impact: White continues to operate as the lead rusher for the Tampa Bay offense. The 24-year-old may have shown enough to secure the starting job next season as well. White and the Buccaneers will host a playoff game next week after winning the NFC South.
